Javascript is not just for the web! With Node.js you can run it on Raspberry Pi’s too. Allan Naranjo, who is a developer at AgilityFeat, has built kiosk applications using Node.js running on a Raspberry Pi.

This month Allan gave a talk about what he’s learned at the HTML5 Developers Conference and the Internet of Things Architecture Conference in San Francisco. In the video below I have the audio from Allan’s talk along with his slides so that you can join in the presentation as well.

What have you done with Raspberry Pi’s and Node.js? I’d love to hear about it, and if you’ve got a blog post on the topic make sure you send it to me for possible inclusion in our free newsletter RealTimeWeekly.com.
